Last three tapes are now up for pre-order. Please check the posts below for ordering details and sound samples. All three are limited quantity releases so if you want’em get in quick. Will be shipping them (along with any outstanding orders) at the end of January.

After that the labels wrapping up. I’m pretty happy with how it’s gone, my mail order skills left something to be desired admittedly but sadly real life often intervenes and I lost my way somewhat. 2012 was a horrible year for me and mine and as the year wound down I became increasingly disinterested and disheartened in not only the label but everything around me. My normally fertile creative wellspring dried the fuck up too, hence no new bands as promised. After making music , coming up with artwork,  playing shows and doing labels and gods know what else, the old chalice no longer brimmeth over, dig? I’m returning to education in a couple of weeks and that is going to be my central focus. Along with working a stressful full time job, trying to maintain a happy marriage not to mention taking care of all our animals and trying to play Warhammer with my mates…well, I’m sure you are picking up what i’m laying down.

Most of the bands we put out are still together and doing well.

Unholy Majesty got picked up by A389 and have an LP scheduled for later in 2013. Violent Reaction just got picked up by Painkiller in the states and Toms just wrapped up recording the LP. Watch out for them on a full US tour with Hounds Of Hate this summer. Born Annoying got swooped up by Reaper Records and just released my favourite 7” of the year, currently doing an East Coast tour too so go see’em if you can. Final Rage have been working on a new record for CTW for the past year, they put a new song up online recently and it’s insanely hard. Watch for that to drop any day now. End Reign working on a new LP and sounding filthy, Grace have new material also..really positive reaction to their 7” and I look forward to whatever they unleash next. Cease To Exist just released a new split tape with Armour Of Contempt on my man Ollies label Church Of Fuck. So as you can see…the road goes ever onward.

So  cheers for sticking with me and the label and putting up with overdue mail orders, for checking out and supporting the bands and buying the shirts and all that. I’ve met some cracking people through doing this and I truly appreciate all your support. It’s been rad. I’ll leave you with the best song ever written.

See you around.

Album Art

Hardcore punk rock from the North East of England. Control take much influence from the classic eighties California sounds of Unity, Uniform Choice, No For An Answer and combine it with the type of passionate, socially conscience lyrics that are so often in absent in much modern hc.

FFO: Punk rock, skateboards, throwing bricks through windows, stage dives , mic grabs and sticking it to the man.

This tape comes with old school style 3D artwork and interior. Hand stamped and numbered inserts and a pair of 3D glasses to gawp at it with. 70 copies only.

jadedpunk:

Minor Threat looking on in complete awe at Rodney Mullen, circa 1982.
If you also spent your teenage years with a skateboard permanently attached to your feet, the Bones Brigade documentary is streaming on Netflix and is worth a watch. Mullen is the clear highlight of it. Even if you grew up watching his skate videos, you really don’t get the full picture of what a COMPLETE FUCKING WEIRDO he is. Still one of the most innovative skaters ever though. He’s probably off somewhere right now, inventing a trick where he does a kickflip, all the wheels come off the trucks, and then magically screw themselves back on right before he lands.

Complete recordings from the now sadly departed Anguish. Contains their cracking 2012 demo on side one and the last session on side 2. The last session had never been released until now, four more songs of grim, doomed out War hungry style hardcore and a cover that anyone who ever saw the band live will not be surprised to hear!

This is a joint (no pun intended) release with the band and as such quantities will be limited. HERE

Listen to SMOKE & MIRRORS by ANGUISH.

The Pact from Sheffield are bringing back the style and sounds of the early 00’s ala’ American Nightmare, Right Brigade , Count Me Out etc.

The soundtrack of too many quiet nights of desperation, of shitty gigs in deadbeat towns and the creeping dread of impending adulthood. The good times are over, so take a swig, break a bottle and scream like you used to when you gave a fuck.

FFO: Giving up/Giving in

This demo is a split release between H13 and the band. We will have strictly limited quantities. Comes in screened package with lyric zine and hand stamped/numbered cover.

Our Gang

Our Gang

Good to see Dargs this weekend too. For a couple of untalented mongs from Margate we’ve had a pretty good run of convincing people to throw themselves around to the racket we make. I’m sure folk will catch on soon, until then go listen to his band Tyburn or come watch our new band Abyss play three songs badly before wandering offstage in search of a cup of tea and a comfy seat.

This is my mate Dan Burrows and I. We went out and had a bit of dinner after band practice in this new Cafe down Margate seafront. Nice spot, I was broke and sick though so I only had a bowl of soup. Buzzard had a burger. We both look weird here, he appears all eccentric/graphic designer/communist and I look like I’ve slapped on the fake tan and aged about ten years.
RE Darke: No man. I got like four grey hairs. I wear them with pride.

Bit more Canaan stuff. This picture is worth it for Stocks face in the crowd. Looks like a lil Straight Edge Pop Eye. Was a decent enough night, had some laughs but I had no voice so I imagine my bit sounded shiter than usual, soz mate.
Hung out with old friends til early morning then went and had a kip at Grandmas house. She gave me an earful the following morning because I’d been drawing on my hands and it rubbed off on the bedding.
